This set of utensils is a great gift. I will be gifting a set to my sister just because and getting another set for a friend as one of her housewarming gifts. The set is sturdy, affordable and best of all easy to clean .

The utensils seem to be put together well. We use them at least weekly for a couple of months now without any issues. We also stick most of them in the dishwasher without any issues. The scissors are sharp enough for the kitchen and we haven't endured any rust like some metal utensils get. I'm even thinking of getting a set for my daughter when she gets married.

This set has all the basic kitchen items you need and they are all great quality! I use the measuring cups, peeler, cheese grater, and measuring spoons often! The whisk and tongs have also come in handy, and work effectively. This would be perfect for dorm rooms, first apartments, or just an addition to your collection of kitchen tools. I loved the bonus scrubbers as well. This item is worth every penny!

This is a pretty comprehensive starter kit (think "my first kitchen" or something). I hate when companies claim there are a lot of components but really they are just talking about a minimal thing, like the 10 hooks in this case, so I give them a demerit for that. Otherwise this is as advertised. I don't think you will want to actually use the hooks above the oven b/c these utensils won't win any awards for design, but maybe you can hang them in a cabinet.
